We just went to our second Outstanding in the Field dinner, held at Route 1 Farms down near Santa Cruz. There was lots of sun, food, wine, and talk about local and sustainable food. If it comes to your neck of the woods, I recommend checking it out. It's worth doing once. The music is "Chained to the Moon" by The Folk Implosion.

This is what I want my wedding to be like... sans the total strangers.
We had hoped for a similar experience in Marin, but our dinner was disappointing--sun, yes, nice people, yes, but not enough food or wine--they ran out of both. It was strange, feeling like Oliver asking for more, after we had paid $200 each.
